Acupuncture needles are very fine stainless steel needles - nowhere near the
size of a hypodermic needle. When the energy reaches the needle you are likely
to feel a tingling, a warm sensation, or a dull ache - nothing to be afraid of.
The needles come in sterilised packaging and are guarded by a plastic guide
tube - they are used once only and disposed of. Depending on the patient, other
